"Principia's Pan-African Conferences discuss issues of importance to the African continent annually, beginning in 1998. Recent topics have included: 'Aftermath of wars in Africa: What are the challenges and lessons,' 'African women as pioneers of change' and 'Ethnic conflict on the African continent' to mention a few.

"The upcoming conference titled 'African Renaissance: African Culture in the Modern World' is the 10th annual conference and will examine African cultures and their influence in the modern world. The areas of focus are: music, literature, visual arts and fashion/textile. The Principia Pan African Conference has been an annual phenomenon since 1998. This year's Conference will be held in October 23rd and 24th. The conference will be a combination of panels and series of performances."
