CutTime Simfonica Launches Classical Series at Majestic Cafe with 'The Power of Love' Sun. Feb. 13 at 4 PM

[Rick Robinson & CutTime Simfonica]

Greetings!
This Sunday at 4pm CutTime Simfonica launches a new classical series at the traditional rock venue the Majestic Theatre. We will perform a fun yet dramatic program called The Power of Love, intending to leave our audience with that warm fuzzy feeling using the best practices classical music has to offer.

We will perform the modern Cupid musical story called Mighty Love, interspersed with heroic, romantic, humorous and profound works by Glinka, Bolling, Bach and a surprise. We will also feature DSO Principal Oboist Don Baker playing the lively Gigue Rondo and big hit single City of Trees that won us a Kresge Artist Fellowship. Playing with me will be violinists Kim Kaloyanides Kennedy and Adrienne Ronmark, violists Jim VanValkenburg and Hang Su and cellist Paul Wingert.

Tickets are $35 and all seating and tables are available first-come first-served. The doors open at 3pm. The Majestic Cafe is offering a fine brunch before and you can certainly stay after for dinner! I know I will! And during the concert, full beverage service will be available in the hall.
A big thank you goes out to Joe and Dave Zainea of The Majestic for believing that classical music has value for everyone!
We hope you can join us Sunday.
- Rick Robinson
