[Fred Onovwerosuoke; Twelve African Songs for Solo Voice & Piano; Twenty-Four Studies in African Rhythms, Volumes I & II; African Music Publishers 2011]

On August 10, 2011 AfriClassical posted: AMP: “Fred Onovwerosuoke's 'Twelve African Songs for Solo Voice & Piano' now available.” We noted that the sheet music had been honored with a Foreword by the renowned musicologist Prof. J.H. Kwabena Nketia, who turned 90 in June of this year.

Melanie Knolls of African Music Publishers has asked us to announce three new music titles. Online information can be found at www.africarts.org/AMP

i. Twenty-Four Studies in African Rhythms, Volume I (2nd. Edition), with great new cover

ii. Twenty-Four Studies in African Rhythms, Volume II (1st Edition)

iii. Twelve African Songs for Solo Voice and Piano

These titles should make great holiday gifts, as wells as support our African Musical Arts, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
