Sergio A. Mims, Classical Music host at radio station WHPK-FM in Chicago, writes about his interview with Maestro Leslie B. Dunner:

I wanted to let you know that I will be doing a live interview with conductor Leslie Dunner on my WHPK-FM radio show on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, starting at 12:30 PM Central Time.  We will discuss his career as well as the upcoming performance of William Grant Still's opera Troubled Island which the South Shore Opera Company will be performing on October 19, 2013.

Before the interview, I will broadcast Still's Symphony No. 3 along with Henri Dutilleux's Tout Un Monde Lointain for Cello and Orchestra conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen, Lutoslawski's Concerto for Orchestra conducted by Edward Gardner, Rameau's short one act opera Anacreon conducted by William Christie and Handel's Music for Royal Fireworks.

And I will also review recent London concerts by the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Salonen, The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment conducted by Christie and the English National Opera's production of Fidelio conducted by Gardner and Alec Ross' lecture at The Rest is Noise series at the Southbank Center
