Valerie will be the featured guest artist for NJ Flute Choir Day at Drew University on Sunday, March 22nd and in residence at William Paterson University on Monday, March 23rd. There will be a World Premiere performance of ELEGY, a collaboration with Uptown Flutes, written by and featuring Valerie as soloist. At William Paterson, Valerie will also conduct a flute masterclass and composition workshop, along with a recital featuring solo and chamber works. The program will include works by Coleman, DuFord, Prokofiev and Jolivet. Guests include: Pianist Dimitri Dover, Clarinetist Michiyo Suzuki, Guitarist Brian DuFord.
