minute walking tour exploring Fort Greene Park, its history, and
connections to the surrounding neighborhood. Uncover facts about the
sacrifice of the Prison Ship Martyrs, Walt Whitman's role in the
founding of Fort Greene Park, and the park's ties to other local
establishments. Tour includes special musical performances by
professional opera singer Nicole Mitchell (Harriet Tubman).
